FlintHills Resources saved 1 shift on a FCC Turnaround
Flint Hills Resources deployed LIFTBOT at their Pine Bend refinery in Minnesota during an FCC turnaround — the most time-critical scope in refinery operations. Two LIFTBOT units handled scaffolding, insulation, and refractory on one side of the FCC reactor while a 90-ton crane operated independently on the other side for heavy mechanical lifts. This parallel workflow — impossible with a single crane — saved a full 12-hour shift on the FCC critical path, with an estimated value of ~$3M.

How was the overall performance?
Saved 1 full 12-hour shift on the FCC critical path (~$3M estimated value).
FHR expanded LIFTBOT to their Corpus Christi, TX facility for pre-turnaround scaffold erection (end of 2025).
Confirmed the parallel-work model delivers consistent schedule compression across sites.
