City Heights, Smarter Lifting: LIFTBOT in Dublin

KEWAZO is featured in ScaffMag! ScaffMag spotlighted the project at Abbey Church in central Dublin with Devine Scaffolding.

Devine Scaffolding took on a ring-lock scaffolding project, removing old platform remnants and preparing the 19th-century Presbyterian church for long-awaited restoration. Because the site sits in a busy city location, the team needed to keep traffic moving and footpaths clear, which made traditional manual “chain-lining” a poor fit.

To solve this, Devine built a gantry over the pavement and coordinated deliveries at night to minimise disruption. During the day, LIFTBOT moved scaffolding components up the tower efficiently while pedestrians passed safely underneath.

With LIFTBOT, the project was completed with 4 workers instead of the initially estimated 7–10, reducing both labour demand and physical strain, helping get the church restoration back on track.
