KEWAZO is a deep-tech startup revolutionizing construction and maintenance with robotics and AI. We design and deploy cutting-edge lifting robots for construction sites and industrial plants. This position is based out of our U.S. headquarters in Houston, TX, where we are growing our service and deployment team.

We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Houston-based team. This role is critical to ensuring our U.S. operations run smoothly by supporting our service team and becoming the operational backbone of the company. You’ll work with our President and Service Manager, as well as collaborate closely with our operations team in Munich, Germany.

If you are a highly organized generalist, capable of coordinating complex logistics as well as solving practical problems and enjoy a broad variety of tasks, this could be a great fit for you! 



Your Responsibilities


Logistics & Shipping Coordination

  • Book trucks, coordinate deliveries internally and with clients, and handle all parcel shipments - make sure everything is in the right place at the right time

  • Prepare customs documentation for international shipments based on company standards and learn how to get our products across international borders, coordinating with customs brokers along the way

  • Manage out-and-inbound documentation and load/offload trucks as needed


Inventory & Workshop Management

  • Keep track of spare part and system inventory, making sure all equipment is tagged

  • Maintain an organized workshop and parking lot so equipment is easily accessible


Procurement & Systems

  • Handle ordering of components and consumables and coordinate with suppliers


Travel & Administrative Support

  • Book and coordinate US team travel always finding the best balanced offer

  • Be the focal point for organizing our presence at conferences and industry events, coordinating between our sales and service teams

  • Manage office admin tasks, such as preparing training certificates for clients or sorting physical mail




Your Profile


  • Experience in logistics or another operational role requiring strong coordination skills

    We are looking for for a jack of all trades - learning new skills will be a crucial part of the job, no matter what background you come from

  • Exceptional Organization

    Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and always thinking critically and on your feet

  • Clear communication
  • Able to clearly explain complex situations verbally and in writing - you share information eagerly and coordinate with multiple parties in a breeze

  • Advanced PC literacy including file management and typing

    including proficiency in common office software (Word, Excel); prior experience with ERP systems is a plus

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and valid U.S. driver’s license

    required for local deliveries
