Founder Associate – Finance, Accounting & Investor Management

KEWAZO is a deep-tech startup with offices in Munich and Houston, TX, and a pioneer in robotics.

Founder Associate – Finance, Accounting & Investor Management

Full-time · Garching b. München

Executive Support

• Help CFO and finance team with day-to-day operations and challenges, ensuring smooth execution across tools and projects

• Manage shareholder and investor relationships

• Prepare board meetings, monitor KPIs and, assist with reporting

People & HR:

• Own all HR processes in the company, including payroll, onboarding/offboarding, contract preparations, and employee requests

Finance & Accounting:

• Assist with month-end closings, accounts payable/receivable, and procurement

• Identify inefficiencies and automate repetitive tasks to free up time for high-impact work

• Support finance team with any ad hoc requests

Your Profile

• "Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

• Strong interest in process optimization and the application of new tools

• Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion

• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with a drive to find smarter ways to get things done

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with DATEV and Odoo is a strong plus. Open to adopting new technologies and AI tools

• Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus but not required)

• Availability to work on-site in Garching bei München

• Open to a flexible schedule several times per week; ability to collaborate with the US-based team across time zone
