CAD/PDM Administrator (m/f/d)

As soon as possible we are looking for a

Permanent position - Full-time / Part-time - Garching b. München

Your tasks:

Spearhead our transition to Solidworks PDM
Manage the link between PDM and our ERP system
Standardize and manage assemblies and individual parts in the PDM database
Create and manage tools/macros within the CAD/PDM environment to streamline related processes
Create production-ready design documents including 3D Models, technical drawings, BOMs, and part lists
Create drawings, views, and renders for marketing
Produce assembly manuals and animations to support the production supply chain and customer service initiatives
Support the mechanical engineering team during development
Help occasionally with design engineering tasks

Your profile:

A completed apprenticeship as a technical draughtsman/technical product designer and/or a completed bachelors degree in engineering or another comparable qualification
You have 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
Experience with Solidworks PDM, and particularly PDM Administration is a must
Experience in the creation of 3D models and CAD drawings with Solidworks
Experience with Solidworks COMPOSER is a plus
Good Understanding of Geometry Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Good user knowledge of common MS Office programs and ideally ERP-system knowledge.
Hands-on experience in design and prototyping is an advantage
Strong problem solving skills and independent working style
Creative thinking , attention to detail, and sense for aesthetics
Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must
Proficiency in German is an advantage
